Terry Bradshaw

Lead Play-by-Play Announcer: FOX

Terry Bradshaw is hands-down the most outspoken broadcaster working NFL games. Equal parts intense knowledge and folksy-quips, he has been both praised and criticized for his broadcasting style. It's a reflection of how Bradshaw played the game. He was a player who took chances.

In a six-year period, Bradshaw won four Super Bowl titles with the Pittsburgh Steelers, something not seen before or since. He led the Steelers to eight AFC championships. In 1989, he was a first ballot Hall of Famer with the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

He played college ball at Louisiana Tech University, widely recognized as the best overall college football player. As a junior, he won the Rice Bowl and he was the first player taken in the 1970 draft.

His NFL career was slow going at first, but he eventually became the top quarterback in the NFL. His "immaculate reception" to running back Franco Harris is considered the top play in NFL history, though it is also one of the most controversial plays as well. Up to that point, the Steelers were considered one of the league's worst teams, but the Bradshaw era resurrected the struggling franchise. The '70s saw a fierce rivalry between the Steelers and the Raiders, as they traded AFC Championships.

Terry Bradshaw started his broadcasting career with CBS in 1984 as a game analyst, paired up with Verne Lundquist. He became a studio analyst in 1990 and was part of "The Super Bowl Today" programs for Super Bowls XVI, XXIV and XXVI.

In 1994, "Fox NFL Sunday" became the NFL's most watched pre- and post-game show. Terry Bradshaw has won two Emmys for his work in 1999 and 2001, initially matched up with the lively group of James Brown, Chris Collinsworth, Jimmy Johnson and Howie Long.

He has also recorded six country albums, wrote five books and appeared in many commercials. All in all, Terry Bradshaw is one of football's most lively personalities.
