5 reasons Arsenal lost to Bayern
By Nick Webster
On Tuesday night, Arsenal's season was effectively finished as a ruthless Bayern Munich tore into the Gunners, ending any hope of ending the barren trophy run. Following on the footsteps of their spectacular failure to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup, the position of Arsene Wenger has come under microscopic scrutiny.
The weaknesses are obvious, glaring and have incredibly been ignored by the Frenchman since the last trophy was lifted in 2005.
Wenger has without a shadow of doubt been Arsenal's greatest ever manager; he is now on the verge of also becoming the club's worst. Something has to give, and you can't sack all the players, so the manager has to go. Hopefully he can take some of his players with him though, as there are a number who are not fit to wear the Arsenal shirt.
they were totally outplayed and looked tired and nothing more than an average Championship team.
