Qingdao Jonoon missed their chance to go top of the Chinese Super League following a 1-1 draw with Shanghai Shenhua on Sunday.
Qingdao took the lead in the 39th minute through a Li Jianbin own goal but had to settle for a share of the spoils when Dady levelled proceedings in the closing stages.
Chang Woe-Ryong's men remain second on the table, one point behind leaders Shandong Luneng.
In Sunday's other game, goals from Wang Yun and Kieza guided Shanghai Shenxin to their first win of the season, 2-1 against Hangzhou.
Yun broke the deadlock in the 30th minute, before Kieza doubled the advantage 13 minutes into the second half.
Wang Song scored a late consolation for Hangzhou with a penalty in the 90th minute.
