Santa Fe beat Envigado on Saturday to move top of the Colombian Primera A standings after Atletico Nacional drew.
Walter Medina's 20th-minute strike was the difference between the two sides as Santa Fe recorded a 1-0 victory at Nemesio Camacho Stadium.
Santa Fe are now top of the table following Atletico Nacional's 2-2 stalemate with Medellin on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Itagui jumped to second thanks to their narrow 1-0 victory over La Equidad, with Victor Cortes netting the only goal of the game on 47 minutes.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Boyaca Chico edged Cucuta Deportivo 1-0, Junior played out a 2-2 draw with Deportivo Cali, while bottom-side Deportes Quindio held Millonarios to a goalless stalemate.
On Sunday, Once Caldas accounted for Atletico Huila 1-0 to move third in the standings, Deportes Tolima salvaged a 1-1 draw at Patriotas Boyaca and Deportivo Pasto shared the spoils with Alianza Petrolera after Juan Velez cancelled out Michael Rangel's first-half effort in a 1-1 draw.
