Kieran Guilbert was born (February 1991) on the small island of Guernsey, infuriatingly separated from the possibility of going to live football matches by the English Channel. From an early age, Kieran has devoured as much football as possible through every medium available, whether it be on television, radio or online.

Currently studying Journalism and French at the University of Sheffield, Kieran has aspirations of becoming a sports journalist and is a contributor for the Forge Press, having previously done freelance work for the Guernsey Press (including coverage of London 2012) and completed work placements with the Irish Times.

Focusing on football, Kieran is an avid Manchester United supporter, which is often questioned in relation to his upbringing on an island south of the UK. Nevertheless, he is a keen student of the game and has an interest in top flight football across Europe, with a particular interest in French football after living in Rennes for a year.
