Liga MX wrap: Tigres pull further ahead

Tigres UANL extended their lead at the top of Liga MX to four points with a 2-1 win over last-placed San Luis on Saturday.
Without leading scorer Emanuel Villa, Tigres went ahead through Lucas Lobos' 12th-minute goal before Yasser Corona hit back on 25 minutes to level.
Spaniard Luis Garcia settled the three points when he scored Tigres' second goal just before the hour mark.
Elsewhere, Santos Laguna moved up to fourth with a 2-1 win over Atlante, who pulled a goal back late on through Esteban Paredes.
Herculez Gomez and Oribe Peralta scored either side of half time to give Santos Laguna a 2-0 lead.
Jesus Zavala was on target twice for Monterrey as they edged Leon struggling Leon 2-1.
The win lifted Monterrey up to 10th place with Leon suffering a third consecutive defeat.
Wilberto Cosme scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute to guide Queretaro to a 1-0 win over fifth-placed Tijuana, and Cruz Azul played out a 1-1 draw with Jaguares.
