MLS: Philadelphia Union 0 DC United 1

By Football News

A Lionard Pajoy strike in the 67th minute proved to be the difference between Eastern Conference rivals, the Phildelphia Union and DC United.

The victory ensured United moved to fourth in the Eastern Conference, leapfrogging Philadelphia and pushing Columbus Crew out of the top five in the process with play-offs not far away.

But Columbus (45 points) still have time to secure a spot in the post-season with not much separating them, DC (47) and Philadelphia (46).

DC are next in action on Sunday when they host the West's bottom-placed side Chivas USA, while the Union tackle the Houston Dynamo.
