Real Salt Lake and USMNT Goalkeeper up for Utah Pro Athlete Award - Fans can vote here

RSL and US Men' s National Team goalkeeper Nick Rimando is up for an award in Utah's State of Sports "Pro Male Athlete" category.
He joins fellow nominees Jesse Wright (PRCA), Daniel Summerhayes (PGA Tour), Paul Krueger (Baltimore Ravens), Haloti Ngata (Baltimore Ravens), and Trevor Lewis (L.A. Kings)
The Governor's State of Sport Awards celebrates Utah's Sports Industry and honores amateur, high school, collegiate, Olympic and professional athletes for the 2012 calendar year. The categories and nominees have been selected by various sports media and industry leaders throughout Utah. It is also open to a panel of judges and fans to vote for the winners.

Rimando won MLS' 2012 'Save of the Year' award, had 3 of the 4 semi-finalist saves for 'Save of the Year' award , won MLS' "Save of the Week" 7 times in 2012, and is the longest tenured player of Real Salt Lake at 14 years.
