Solskjaer rules out Bolton post

By Football News

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant managerial role at Bolton.

The 39-year-old has committed himself to current club Molde until the end of the Norwegian Premier League season in November.

The former Manchester United striker has been linked with a number of English clubs after winning the title with Molde in his first season in charge, most notably Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers.

But Norwegian Solskjaer appears keen to see out the remaining five games of the current campaign, dismissing the link with Bolton, who sacked Owen Coyle last week.

"There will always be speculation whenever an English club is looking for a manager," Solskjaer told Romsdals Budstikke.

"There's probably been about 20 names mentioned with regards to the Bolton job, and it's natural that mine's one of them. But it isn't for me right now.

"Blackburn, Bolton - the rumours keep popping up. I don't pay much attention to them.

"I will definitely be here until the end of the season, I can promise that."
