Stramaccioni apologises to Inter fans

By Football News

Italian club, Inter Milan had to twice fight back after going behind, with Yuto Nagatomo's injury-time equaliser salvaging a point for the 2010 Uefa Champions League winners.

"Personally I'm sorry not to give the joy of victory," Andrea Stramaccioni told reporters from Sky Sport Italia.

Inter have struggled at home so far this season having failed to win on four occasions now, which is something the former youth coach laments.

"Obviously it bothers us not to win at home. It seems like simplistic analysis, but we were punished by two episodes," he said.

"Every game has its own story. We have always gone behind early in games played at home this season, but I do not think our approach was wrong as we created several chances before they scored."

Stramaccioni's side will travel to Neftchi Baku in the next round of Europa League games on October 4.
