The Derby della Madonnina is one of the greatest spectacles in all of Calcio, with no shortage of salivating sub plots and Sunday’s showdown at San Siro will be no different.

Like the first sip of a Belgian Trappist strong ale or the opening riff from your favourite band at an intimate club, the Milan derby starts with a bang and rarely disappoints.

Inter trail Milan by one point in the race for the last Champions League spot and with Antonio Cassano on one side and Mario Balotelli on the other there should be no shortage of fireworks in what is usually a fervid affair.
