Inter are only one point behind their city rivals in third place ahead of their Serie A showdown but it seems like much more, such is the state of affairs in the blue half of Milan.

The Beneamata are coming off their most insipid display of the season, their inspirational striker is out for the year and the defence is an absolute mess.

Names like Ruud van Nistelrooy and Milan Baros are being thrown around as potential emergency reinforcements, but it’s obvious that things are not going quite to plan at this stage in the game if the club’s would–be-saviours are years past their expiry date.
