Your annoying Pittsburgh Steeler fan friend was right. Heath Miller is a great all-around tight end. He’s never been much in fantasy until 2012’s breakout season in which he set a career high in receiving yards and touchdowns. The year after Miller’s other Pro Bowl berth (the 2009 season) he had 42 catches for 512 yards and two touchdowns.

It’s really not fair to call Miller a bust because one of the reasons why he’s going to struggle this year is the devastating knee injury he suffered in the last week of the season. However, Miller wasn’t much of a speed merchant before the injury. Even as a backup tight end, Miller’s not worth the risk.
