Bennett never developed in Dallas, but once he got to New Jersey, things changed. He had his best year by far with the Giants, but they haven't valued the TE position since Mark Bavaro, and they let Bennett walk.

Bennett ended up in a good spot. He’ll move to Chicago and become Jay Cutler’s new (second) best friend. It used to be a fantasy football axiom that you avoided free agents on new teams. Bennett already exceeded expectations with a 55-catch season from a new quarterback. He can exceed those numbers in a new offense.
