There were many experts, including Football.com's Draft Senior Editor David Seigerman, who had Allen coming off the draft board at the end of the first round or the beginning of the second. Allen ended up falling all the way to No. 76, where San Diego got what appears to be the "steal of the draft."
Allen has great size, 6-feet 2-inches, with great speed. This combination allows Allen to be a legitimate outside threat. Allen is not just a guy who stretches the field however; he also uses his strong build and great hands to dominate the middle of the field.
