The Miami Dolphins moved up to the third pick and were expected to take Lane johnson, an offensive tackle. The Dolphins then shocked the entire draft room by selecting defensive end/outside linebacker Dion Jordan out of Oregon. Jordan is considered one of the best pass rushers in the draft and will be paired with Cameron Wake to make a formidable pass rushing duo.
Jordan has some injury concerns but is put in the perfect situation as the secondary pass rush option.
