John Lotulelei, an undrafted rookie out of UNLV, came out of nowhere and is hard to overlook. That could be because of his seemingly endless hair that he has grown since 2009 — or, of course, there's his tenacity on the field.

In the preseason opener, Lotulelei had three solo tackles, including one for a loss, but he seemed to be involved in every defensive play. Lotulelei had a great career at UNLV and dominated in his senior year when he racked up 120 tackles. At training camp, he looks very confident and always eager to prove that the $25,000 signing bonus (most for an undrafted rookie) was well spent.

Lotulelei will have a tough competition in the linebacker unit, but he should make the 53-man roster. By the end of the season, expect people to know him by the way he plays and not by the length of his hair.
