Bryant is the other senior leader playing safety for the Buckeyes.

He is listed at 5-10, 192, but plays bigger than his size indicates. A physical tackler, Bryant was named second-team All-Big Ten in 2012 after finishing second on the team in tackles with 71. Bryant was also a disruptive force with 12 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one recovery, along with one interception on the year.

Bryan has run a reported 4.35 in the 40-yard dash, and it shows on his speed and burst on his pass breakups. Early in the 2012 season, Bryant had an interception and 2 pass breakups against pass-happy Cal. He displayed good recognition in coverage and the ability to break on throws.

Bryant may be competing with his fellow safety for top honors this season.
