Is the Orange Bowl a lose-lose situation for Ohio State?

The Buckeyes had a big let down losing to Michigan State in the Big 10 title game. the loss snapped a 24-game winning streak, denied the Buckeyes a Big 10 title, and kept them out of the national championship game.

Ohio State landed in the Orange Bowl - which is still a BCS game - but not what "Buckeye Nation" was looking for.

If the Buckeyes win, it will be written off as a win over only the third best team in the ACC. If the Buckeyes lose, it will be perceived that they couldn't even beat the third best team in the ACC.

I think it is a lose-lose situation considering how highly ranked OSU was this year and the manner in which they lost the Big 10 title game. Either way, the Big 10 national perception won't improve much either.
