Well, well, what did Vinny Cerrato stumble on here? Rob Jackson, a linebacker buried on the depth chart for his first three seasons, saw regular duty in 2011, and started 14 games in 2012 after Brian Orakpo suffered a season-ending injury in Week 2. Jackson performed admirably, recording 4.5 sacks, picking off four passes and scoring a touchdown.

At the very least, he looks to be a solid backup outside linebacker — not a bad return for a seventh-round pick — as long as the four-game suspension he received from the league this offseason doesn’t develop into a bigger problem.
