The Week 1 matchup featuring the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons has the fan base of each team pretty nervous, but excited at the same time. Both teams understand the ramifications if either team loses and will be gunning for a win in the first game of the 2013 season.

Judging by the scores of the last five games between these two division rivals, each and every fan from both teams will need a defibrillator or a paper bag because it will be a close one:

Nov. 29, 2012

ATL 23, NO 13

Nov. 11, 2012

NO 31, ATL 27

Dec. 26, 2011

NO 45, ATL 16

Nov. 13, 2011

NO 26, ATL 23

Dec. 27, 2010

NO 17, ATL 14

For the Saints, the game is the overarching story but there are several other stories that need to be closely watched within the game. There are five players that fans should pay special attention to because this game can set a tone that could last throughout the season.

Of course all 53 players are important for the team, but these five players can make a huge difference on where the 2013 season ends up.
