Auburn defensive end Dee Ford topped a good week with two sacks in Saturday's Senior Bowl, helping the South to a 20-10 win.

Ford, named the most outstanding defensive lineman after the week's practice, also knocked down a pass and earned game MVP honors.

Meanwhile, the North offense had to rely on running backs James White (Wisconsin) and David Fluellen (Toledo) to move the ball. The pair ran for 106 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.

It wasn't a strong showing for ACC quarterbacks, who combined to complete 21-of-39 for 137 yards and no scores playing for the North. Stephen Morris (Miami) threw two interceptions, Tajh Boyd (Clemson) threw an interception and Logan Thomas (Virginia Tech) got sacked five times.

Derek Carr (Fresno State) and David Fales (San Jose State) represented the Mountain West Conference by each throwing a touchdown pass in the South's win.

Colorado State tight end Crockett Gilmore, playing for the South, caught five passes for 61 yards and a touchdown to lead all receivers.
