With Week 1 in the books, it’s fair to say that many of us expected Brandon Lloyd to find a team in need of his services by now. But it’s been quiet so far, and it seems like all 32 teams have given up on the 32-year-old Lloyd.

According to ProFootballTalk, that isn’t the case, as they report that he has denied inquiries from at least six NFL teams including the New England Patriots, New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers about playing in 2013. Jason LaCanfora reiterated this sentiment on Twitter Wednesday, saying that he “continue(s) to hear that free agent Brandon Lloyd does not intend to play football this year.”

All signs now point to Lloyd’s 10-year career being over.

Lloyd, who led the league in receiving yards with 1,448 in 2010, had a mostly mediocre career never having topped the 1,000-yard mark in any season prior to or since 2010. Either way, he would be due a $940,000 minimum contract going into what would be his 11th season. However, even with that incentive, it seems that he is ready to hang ‘em up for good.
