Nearly two dozen rookies, 16 of them undrafted free agents (UDFA), will arrive at Valley Ranch this week as the Dallas Cowboys open their rookie minicamp on May 10. The odds are that the seven drafted players are a lock, barring injury, to make the roster this fall. And a small handful of the free agents have a pretty good shot to land on the Cowboys’ practice squad or possibly even one of the other 31 NFL teams’ practice squad come late August.

The rest, however, are looking at very long odds at succeeding in realizing their dream to make it in the NFL at all. Here is a look at those 23 players.
