I wrote about Daryl Richardson in my RB Sleepers and Busts column a few weeks ago, but the Rams had to go and throw a wrench in my plans by drafting Zac Stacy right after I hit publish on that article. With Steven Jackson leaving town, I figured Richardson’s 98 carries in 2012 to Isaiah Pead’s 10 would give a hint as to who would assume the majority of the carries in 2013, but Stacy’s addition to this RBBC makes things about as clear as mud. Coming off back-to-back 1,100-plus yard and 10-plus TD seasons at Vanderbilt, Stacy brings a powerful and explosive combination to the Rams’ backfield and could very well be the running back to own in St. Louis. I still think Richardson will get first crack at the job, but Stacy is a very solid late-round pickup if he gets overlooked in your draft.
