Winning the turnover battle always puts you in a better position to win in a game. That could be the biggest reason why the Titans have been in position to win in each of their first two games.
Tennessee's offense has not yet turned over the ball in eight quarters. That's pretty amazing, especially, when you take into account that Jake Locker is their quarterback. Conversley, their defense has four takeaways, two in each game. The Titans are 2nd in the NFL in turnover ratio (+4), only behind the Seattle Seahawks (+5).
If they can force a couple more turnovers against Phillip Rivers' improved offense, the Titans will definitley be in a great spot to improve to 2-1.
