Bio

In 2011, Mike Jorden became D.C. United Women’s first-ever head coach. Mike lead D.C. United Women to win their first Eastern Conference Championship title and make their first W-League Championship Final Four appearance in 2012.

Jorden, a native of Dayton, Ohio, is a 10-time Virginia State Cup champion coach. He coached with several Northern Virginia youth clubs over the last 10 years, including Herndon, Reston, Loudoun, Sterling, Southwestern, McLean, and FC Virginia. In his commitment to developing youth, Mike serves as the Technical Director at Chantilly Soccer Club.

As a testament to Mike’s ability to train players, he won two U.S. Youth Soccer Region I titles, in 2003 with Sterling Elite U13 girls and in 2009 with the U15 Chantilly Burn girls team. He also seized Virginia state titles in every age group the competition is held.

Coach Jorden formerly a part of Virginia Youth Soccer Association Olympic Development Program as a district and state coach, developed several youth players to earn soccer scholarships to some of the most reputable Division1 schools in the country.
