Kickoff Countdown: 2013 Bold Predictons
Kickoff Countdown: Three Days
Editor's Note: This is the fifth in a seven-day series designed to sustain college football fans until North Carolina and South Carolina kick off the season Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. ET. We've looked at the best, underrated and worst states for producing FBS talent, reflected on our favorite tailgating memories, given you a printable schedule guide to the 2013 season and ranked every FBS starting quarterback. We'll also pay tribute to the BCS (Tuesday) and provide a comprehensive food guide for every school (Wednesday).
If you sleep like normal people — in a bed, every night a few hours after dark — then you'll do so three more times before the college football season begins Thursday.
For some coaches, perhaps a player or two, and some editors, sleep is optional as preparation and anxiety precede the opening kickoff.
What follows are our bold predictions for every conference for the 2013 season. Be sure to share your own predictions with us in the space below.
Oregon State to make its fourth-ever trip to the Rose Bowl is my favorite of all the "bold" predictions.
