Fullback Vonta Leach never missed a game during his two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. However, it is unlikely that he will ever suit up for them again.

The Ravens and Leach were unable to strike a deal to restructure the veteran’s contract ,leading the team to announce that they intend to trade or release Leach as soon as Tuesday.

Leach was set to make a base salary of $3 million this year and would have cost the team a total of $4.3 million in salary-cap space. If the Ravens indeed get rid of Leach, they will only be responsible for $1.3 million of his contract, freeing up cap space.

Late Tuesday, Leach acknowledged on Twitter that his fate with the Ravens appears to be sealed.

"Thank Ravens organization for a great two years," Leach tweeted. "I came here and did what we set out to do and that's win the Super Bowl. My time here is up but what we accomplished, we will forever be linked."
