Through nine games, there’s little doubt that new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Cam Cameron has had a tremendous influence on Zach Mettenberger’s play. The senior from Georgia is sixth in the country in passing efficiency. He already has exceeded last year’s touchdown passes (12) with 19 so far this season. It is evident that Mettenberger is also much more comfortable and confident in the pocket and generally making good decisions.

One area of concern is interceptions. He only threw two interceptions during LSU’s first seven games. He’s thrown five in the last two contests. Cameron and Mettenberger will need to shore this up before LSU’s home stretch of Alabama, Texas A&M, and Arkansas.
