Marcel Reece is a fullback for the Oakland Raiders. In four seasons with the franchise, he has made two Pro Bowl teams and earned Second-Team All-Pro recognition following the 2013 season.
Reece was born on June 23, 1985 in Inglewood, CA and played football at Hesperia High School in Hesperia, CA. He earned All-League honors as a wide receiver as a senior at Hesperia High and continued his playing career at Chaffey Junior College. In one season at Chaffey, he caught 25 passes for 600 yards and seven touchdowns. He then transferred to El Camino Community College, and after catching 47 passes for 1,286 yards, he earned a scholarship offer from the University of Washington.

After two junior college stops, Reece had two years of college eligibility remaining. As a junior for the Huskies, he caught nine passes for 219 yards and a touchdown in 11 games. He became a starter as a senior, hauling in 39 receptions for 761 yards and eight touchdowns. His most notable play came on a 98 yard touchdown reception against the University of Arizona, which is the longest touchdown from scrimmage in school history.
Despite running his 40 yard dash in 4.4 seconds, Reece was not selected in the 2008 NFL Draft. He signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent, but the Oakland Raiders quickly signed him off waivers and moved him to fullback. He didn’t see action in an NFL game until 2010 when he became the starting fullback for the Raiders. During the 2010 season, he caught 25 passes for 333 yards and three scores while also rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown. He made back-to-back Pro Bowls in 2012 and 2013 while seeing action at fullback and running back for Oakland.
