The Big Ten was fortunate in the 2013 NFL Draft that the Dallas Cowboys reached with the final pick of the first round to select Travis Frederick, a center out of Wisconsin. If Frederick hadn't been selected, it would have been the first shutout in the first round for the BIg Ten since 1953.

Be that as it may, the Big Ten only had 21 more picks in the entire draft. It seems that the 2014 draft will be more bountiful for the Big Ten, especially at the top with potentially five first round selections coming from the conference.
