Friday, Oct. 4 (Recap)

Who: Nevada Wolf Pack (3-3, 2-1 MWC) 44 at San Diego State (2-3, 1-0 MWC) 51 (OT)

Where: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego

On The Board: SDSU by 6

On The Line: After starting the season with three losses, the Aztecs are starting to look like the team most experts expected them to be. The Wolf Pack played tough on the road, but their up-and-down season continues.

---

Who: BYU (3-2, Ind.) 31 at Utah State (3-3, 2-0 MWC) 14

Where: Romney Stadium, Logan, Utah

On The Board: USU by 6

On The Line: The Aggies remain something of an enigma this year. USU gets a hall pass this week, however, with QB Chuckie Keeton leaving the game in the first quarter with a knee injury. It’s no coincidence that BYU outscored the Aggies 28-7 after he left.

Saturday

Who: Air Force (1-4, 0-4 MWC) at Navy (2-1, Ind.)

When: 11:30 a.m. ET

Where: Navy-Marine Corps Mem. Stadium, Annapolis, Md.

On The Air: CBS

On The Board: Navy by 12.5

On The Line: No government shutdown can stop this rivalry. The Falcons are looking to end a four-game losing skid, but it will be a tall order. The Midshipmen already have a 41-35 win over a Big 10 opponent (Indiana) under their belt this season.

---

Who: New Mexico State (0-5, 0-0 Ind.) at New Mexico (1-3, 0-1 MWC)

When: 5 p.m. MT

Where: University Stadium, Albuquerque, N.M.

On The Air: ROOT

On The Board: New Mexico by 11

On The Line: The best way to end a two-game losing streak is to have an 0-5 team that hasn’t scored more than 21 points this season come to your stadium. The Lobos should improve to 2-3 and take home the Maloof Trophy in the Rio Grande Rivalry.

---

Who: Fresno State (4-0, 2-0 MWC) at Idaho (1-4, IND)

When: 3 p.m. MT

Where: Kibbie Dome, Moscow, Idaho.

On The Air: KSEE 24 (Calif.)

On The Board: Fresno State by 27.5

On The Line: Fresno’s quest to bust the last BCS continues against a Vandals team that may look to be fodder for the Bulldogs, but Derek Carr and company needs to be ready. Idaho put up 35 points in a loss to Northern Illinois just three weeks ago.

---

Who: San Jose State (1-3, 0-1 MWC) at Hawaii (0-4, 0-0 MWC)

When: 6:00 p.m. HT

Where: Aloha Stadium, Honolulu, Hawaii.

On The Air: Oceanic PPV (Hawaii)

On The Board: SJSU by 4.5

On The Line: This looked like an automatic win for SJSU going into the season, but now that’s not a sure thing. If the Spartans have any hope of salvaging this season, they need to get out of paradise with a win.
