Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has hinted that he may make a move for a striker in the summer.

Monaco striker Radamel Falcao is top of his list after Mourinho stated that he deserves a better club because of his talents.

Mourinho also stated that Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a target, in comments that may not go down well with Fernando Torres, Samel Eto'o and Romelu Lukaku.

Most of Chelsea's goals this season have come from midfielders Oscar and Eden Hazard, both of which have been the teams standout players.

To make matters worse for Chelsea's strikers, Mourinho claimed that Falcao would be perfect for them becuase they currently have no strikers.

"I have a team, but no striker, Falcao does not have a team," Mourinho said in a video clip shown on the Canal Plus website. "A player like him can't play in front of 3,000 people."

A reference to the fact that although Monaco are massively wealthy, they ususlly attract paltry crowds.

In a previous interview Mournho ruled out a move for Ibrahimovic: "It's impossible, he's happy at Paris.

"I know becuse he is my friend and we are in touch," he added. "PSG with all its wealth would never open the door, that's mission impossible".
