The Hoosiers return a lot of talent. This Indiana team thinks it can win now.
I think that's debatable. Indiana could still be a year away from a bowl, but clawing to six wins is not out of the question. Every nonconference game is important in that quest, but one at home against Missouri (Sept. 21) is the most significant. Missouri missed a bowl for the first time in eight years in 2012 and could be ripe for the picking.
By the fourth game, Indiana should have its offense and quarterback situation figured out. If it can take down a perennially strong Tigers' squad, a bowl game is not only possible, but likely.
Prediction: Not yet. Missouri still has a stronger program and puts Indiana in a hole entering the Big Ten season.
