Patriots TE Gronkowski 60-40 Play Against Atlanta

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski may finally be making his 2013 debut this weekend when the team goes to the Georgia Dome to play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football. This will be the Patriots’ first true test of the season, and this would be about as good a time as any for Gronkowski to return to the lineup.
ESPN’s Chris Mortensen said on SportsCenter earlier that he had a 60-40 chance to play, and that he’s more likely than not to suit up this Sunday night.
"There really is no update," he said. "You know how we go. And I'm improving every week."
It seems that Gronkowski took a page out of the Bill Belichick handbook for dealing with the media.
"I don't know,” he continued. “As of right now, we're just focusing day by day and tomorrow is another step forward and we've got to see.”
As for reports that he looked noticeably thinner, Gronkowski offered this: "I don't lose weight. I can look skinny and still be the same amount of weight. It goes by skinny or looking jacked."
When asked about regaining his strength, Gronkowski said, "Yeah, definitely, and like I said before, that's part of the whole rehab process. I mean, it's not just rehabbing your back and your arm. I took off my whole body for about a couple months, so you've got to get everything going again. All muscles firing again at all parts of your body.
"I'm taking everything day by day and today I went out to practice, went into meetings, did everything normal, so just day by day and improving every day."
