6. Tennessee 20, Alabama 13 (Oct. 26, 1996)

Alabama vs. Tennessee. Gene Stallings vs. Phillip Fulmer for the last time. Manning prevailed with a 20-13 victory inside Neyland Stadium, guiding the Vols to UT's first back-to-back wins over Alabama since '84 and '85.

5. Tennessee 10, Washington State 9 (Oct. 1, 1994)

With Tennessee quarterbacks Jerry Colquitt and Todd Helton out with injuries, Manning started his first collegiate game. In front of a homecoming crowd of 95,556, Manning led the Vols to a 10-9 victory over 17th-ranked Washington State. Manning completed 7-of-14 and secured his first of 39 collegiate victories.
