8. Tennessee 59, Kentucky 31 (Nov. 22, 1997)

Manning breaks the UT single-game passing record with 523 yards and five touchdowns in a 59-31 victory against Kentucky. Manning held the Tennessee single-game passing record until Tyler Bray threw for 530 yards against Troy in 2012. The '97 Tennessee/Kentucky game is remembered for both Manning and Kentucky quarterback, Tim Couch, lighting up the box score. Couch threw for 476 yards, but threw three interceptions.

7. Tennessee 45, Virginia Tech 23 (Dec. 30, 1994)

Manning earns his first game ball after passing for 189 yards and one touchdown in the Volunteers' 45-23 Gator Bowl win over the Hokies. The irony of this bowl victory in his freshman year? The game took place at the home of the Florida Gators. This would be Manning's only victory inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium after his Vols lost the '95 and '97 contests inside 'The Swamp.' The venue hosted the Gator Bowl due to renovations taking place in Jacksonville for the NFL arrival of the Jaguars.
