With the release of the 2013 NFL schedule, the Houston Texans will be featured in four primetime games this season.

Running back Arian Foster and the Texans open the season on the road against the San Diego Chargers, in the second part of a Monday Night Football double-header on Sept. 9th.

The Texans travel to San Francisco in Week five to play the 49ers in a Sunday Night game. The 49ers are the 2012 NFC champions and will be a nice test for the Texans in the early half of the schedule.

Coming off a bye in Week 8, the Texans will host quarterback Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in Houston's second Sunday night game of the season. It will also be the first of two meetings against the AFC South rival Colts.

Both matchups between the Colts and Texans will be important in deciding a division winner.

The Texans won the division with a record of 12-4 in 2012. It is the second straight season in which the Texans have won the division. It is also only the second division title in franchise history.

The Colts finished 11-5 in 2012, second within the division right behind the Texans and ahead of the Tennessee Titans. The Titans finished at 6-10.

The last of four primetime games for the Texans are also against an AFC South rival, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars will host the Texans in Week 14's Thursday night game. The Jaguars finished fourth in the division with a record of 2-14.
