Weeks after being released by the New York Jets, quarterback Tim Tebow has found a new home.

ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that the New England Patriots have signed Tebow and expect him to be present at minicamp on Tuesday.

Though it is unsure which position Tebow will be asked to play in New England, the majority of his snaps in the league have been taken at quarterback.

Tebow is a career 173-361 (47.9 percent) passing and has accumulated 2,422 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

Perhaps most notably, the deal reunites Tebow with his former head coach, Josh McDaniels who was at the helm of the Denver Broncos when Denver drafted Tebow in 2010.

McDaniels currently serves as the offensive coordinator for the Patriots.
