A great landing spot in the draft for Stacy, and with the departure of Steven Jackson to the Atlanta Falcons via free agency, the Rams backfield is up for grabs. His competion going into 2013 are two running backs with major question marks: Daryl Richardson, who was effective in what time he saw last year but is considered to be unreliable as an every down back, and Isaiah Pead, who is extremely talented and was the favorite to win the starting job but is now dealing with a suspension due to a failed drug test. Stacy is a Ray Rice type that can grind out tough yards and is extremely versatile. I wouldn't be shocked that if given the opportunity, Stacy becomes the most productive Rams running back in 2013.
