The Rams wide receiver crew will look mighty different in 2013, as Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson both jetted off to new teams. The group is now jam packed with young upside receivers who could all potentially produce at the NFL level but with Tavon Austin, Chris Givens, Brian Quick and Stedman Bailey all possessing very little or no NFL experience, the 2013 target breakdown in St. Louis is far from etched in stone. While Tavon Austin will likely rack up solid numbers in the slot, keep tabs on the outside receiver battle in St. Louis this preseason. Bailey (5’10’’, 193 lbs) is not the huge target that many would envision complimenting Austin on the outside, but with such a young, inexperienced group, anything is possible. Sam Bradford could gravitate toward one or two of his receivers in the Rams early preseason contests, which may help give some insight into how Bailey will be used in 2013.
