As for Florida State, a great deal of its successes has come on the defensive side of the ball. The Seminoles have produced elite defensive talent in first rounders Antonio Cromartie, Kamerion Wimbley and Lawrence Timmons.
Offensively, the jury is still out, particularly in the case of quarterback Christian Ponder (2011).
Best Picks: Antonio Cromartie (2007), Lawrence Timmons (2007), Kamerion Wimbley (2006)
Worst Picks: Patrick Robinson (2010), Travis Johnson (2005), Ernie Sims (2006)

Well there are plenty of other QB's that didn't work out but as 1st rounders from Florida goes, Rex is on the list of worst picks. He was at the helm of some successful teams, but was he the reason for the success? I don't think so.
Really Rex Grossman was a worst pick? Sure he is not the greatest QB to play the game, but he did throw for over 3,000 yards in two seasons and took a team to the NFC championship. There are plenty of other "bust QBs" who have done worse. Just the fact that the guy has stayed on a roster for 10 years is something of a success point when you consider how many players just plain don't make it at the top level of the game.
