After losing Knile Davis and others from last year's squad that struggled to run the ball, I thought this year would have been much worse for the Arkansas running game.

Instead, the Razorbacks have gotten 625 yards on the ground, with 580 of those yards coming from Austin Collins and Jonathan Williams.

I have to say I'm plesantly surprised by this run production, but I'm not so sure it's going to help much once SEC play gets going. The Razorbacks faced Louisiana-Lafayette and Samford to open the season. Add in the fact that they trailed FCS Samford in the fourth quarter and the picture becomes clearer.

Despite a good rushing attack thus far, the Razorbacks soon will be knocked back down to Earth when they enter conference play.
