Chance Of A Loss: 35 percent

Why ASU Will Win: When Stanford rolls into Sun Devil Stadium, Arizona State will have joined the Cardinal in the AP Top 25. Stanford likely will be in the Top 5. The Pac-12 target doesn’t get much bigger.

ESPN's K.C. Joyner wrote Taylor Kelly may be the most unheralded player in all of college football. The junior threw for 30 touchdowns last season, but when people start saying you are unheralded, the jig is up. Kelly now has to prove himself and the Stanford game will be a great opportunity.

Why Stanford Will Win: Kelly lost most of his best receivers, like Hogan, but unlike Hogan, he does not have a massive defensive crutch. Yes, William Sutton is one of the best defensive tackles in college football, but his talent doesn’t compare to the complete Stanford defense, nor can he singlehandedly stop Stanford’s offense. Kelly may play well, and so too could Arizona State running back Marion Grice, but Stanford still wins this game by a touchdown or more.
