The 2010 NFL draft was the most prolific of the BCS era for the Big 12. The conference produced five of the first six draftees. Although that year was unusual, the conference has a history of sending quality recruits to the NFL.

Last season Kansas State's streak of sending players to the NFL became the longest in the conference after Texas failed to see a player drafted, the first time that has happened since 1937.

But the Longhorns sent plenty of high-profile players to the NFL recently, including a certain quarterback and running back. Here's a look at the best Big 12 players drafted in the BCS era (1998 to 2013).
