Journeyman signal caller Matt Moore has been bounced around between a few different teams and from starter to backup multiple times over the course of his career. After starting 13 games in three seasons with the Carolina Panthers, Moore signed on with the Miami Dolphins in 2011. Early that season, starter Chad Henne went down with an injury and in came Moore, who threw for 2,497 yards with 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Moore has the makeup and ability to be a solid backup quarterback in the NFL, especially for a team with a strong supporting cast on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
