Willie Gault. Not only did Gault have secure hands, he was one of the NFL’s fastest receivers. Once he caught the ball, he could not be chased down. Team USA's world-record 4x100 relay team but missed out on the Olympics when the U.S. boycotted the 1980 Summer Games in Moscow. Gault started his NFL career in 1983 with the Chicago Bears, for whom he played for five seasons, but he had his best year with the Raiders. In1990, one of six seasons he would play for Oakland, he had a career-high 985 receiving yards. He had 149 receptions for a total of 2,985 yards and 17 touchdowns with the Raiders.
