2012 season: sat out due to NCAA transfer rules

Aaron Lynch is an interesting player to look at when scouting the 2014 NFL Draft. He was a former first-team Freshman All American at Notre Dame in 2011 before being forced to sit out 2012 after transferring to USF.

Lynch showed that he has the ability to disrupt plays both against the run and the pass while at Notre Dame, and he will face some easier opponents in the AAC. He is big, strong and physical at the line of scrimmage. Lynch has enough speed off the line to get past opposing linemen but also has the power and drive to bull rush. He is surprisingly strong at the point of attack in the run game as well.
