Temple football is currently trying to rebound back to the form it reached under Al Golden. This season, they bring in new coach Matt Ruhle after Steve Adazio left for Boston College this offseason.

Ruhle plans to bring a passing attack to a team that did not throw the ball much last year. After losing a majority of the offensive line and running backs though, the Owls will need to air it out.

This puts Fitzpatrick in a good place. He led the team last season with 30 receptions and also played a significant role in the return game. With the increased passing game, Fitzpatrick should see more balls thrown his way. He is a quick receiver who relies on quick feet to get away from opposing defensive backs.
